What does AdvertiseCast / Libsyn Ads charge?
Why this page anchors the whole site
When everyone else pulled their numbers behind contact forms, Libsyn Ads kept a rate card up . That makes it the reference point every other quote gets checked against, and it is why the Test Modeler’shost-read default is $24-26 CPM, not a number we made up. One vendor’s card is not the market, but a dated, public, verbatim figure beats a private quote for planning.
How the buy actually works
This is a marketplace, not an ad manager. You browse shows or brief the team, get a proposal priced off the card against each show’s first-30-day downloads, approve, and the hosts record. Expect days, not minutes, between brief and live spot: the human in the loop is the product. There is no published minimum spend; practical entry is set by the cheapest show on your list, which is why the minimum spend tablemarks this row “none published” rather than quoting a floor.
The branding shuffle
AdvertiseCast was acquired by Libsyn and the advertisecast.com identity has been fully folded into Libsyn Ads. The rate card moved from /podcast-advertising-rates to a /featured-ad-reads page. If you find an old AdvertiseCast rates URL in a blog post, it redirects; the Session Log carries the current one.
Who it fits
Buyers with $2,500 and up who want named-show host-reads without an agency. Below that, self-serve platforms stretch further: Acast or AudioGo. For creator-direct flat-fee deals instead of CPM pricing, look at Podcorn.
